  1. COMMAND & CONQUER: RED ALERT
  2.  
  3. To load a Command & Conquer: Red Alert level (known as MPRs),
  4. copy the file into your Red Alert directory (usually 
  5. \WESTWOOD\REDALERT).
  6.  
  7. If the file is zipped, unzip it using PKUNZIP or WINZIP (not 
  8. provided with this CD).
  9.  
  10. Once you've copied the level to the Red Alert directory, load
  11. Red Alert as usual. The levels can only be played in Multiplayer
  12. mode, either against other players, or against the computer in 
  13. Skirmish mode. Simply start up a multiplayer game as usual, and
  14. select the new map as the scenario to play (the new maps usually
  15. appear at the bottom of the list).

  17. For example, if the name of the file is RIVERCRO.MPR, River 
  18. Crossroads should appear in the Scenario list once it's copied over
  19. to the \WESTWOOD\REDALERT directory.
